Challenge - Anything Goes, High Hopes Stamps, One Crazy Stamper, , ,

Welcome OCS fans;

I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend and had a chance to enjoy the Canada Day festivities.

For today’s card, I have used several techniques and different mediums.  The stamp I used is called The Best of Things from High Hopes Stamps.  I coloured this with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers.  The main background paper is a piece of sheet from one of Heidi Swapp’s paper pads that was foiled using the Minc Machine and Holographic Reactive Foil.  The strip of paper on the left hand paper was created using a Tim Holtz stencil called Trellis.   Lilac Lavendar and Spring Green Nuvo Mousse were used to add colour.  Doing this was trial and error.  The mousse which has a pearlescent effect has a creamy and smooth like butter texture.  I found it went on quite nicely if I used a piece of cut and dry foam instead of a spatula.

For my card today I have used the Pretty Gladiolas along with the In our Hearts sentiments from the Party Time Release of High Hopes Stamps.

Fall/Winter Fun 2016, High Hopes Stamps, One Crazy Stamper, ,

Welcome back OCS Fans;

Well it is now official — less than six weeks to Christmas.  The chaos will now begin as everyone gets ready for the holiday season.

For today’s post, I have used another adorable stamp from the new High Hopes Fall/Winter Fun release called Presents Galore.  I used the Nuvo Glitter Drops around the outer edges of the Square Hearts Die, and the Nuvo Crystal Drops in the corner and the hearts in the sentiment.

Hummingbird Flight

Hi OCS Fans;

Summer is officially here, which also means that school is out and the children will have two whole months to chill and have some fun other than school work.

For my card today, I used the Hummingbird Ring stamp from High Hopes.  I used the Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers to colour the image.  Once coloured, the image was then cut using a Spellbinders Circle die which was mounted on the Lacy Circle die.  This die was cut on Toner Paper and then foiled with Teal/Silver Ombre foil.  Pop by next week and I will show you want other things can be done with the Heidi Swapp Minc Machine.  As this card can be used for any occasion, I didn’t add a sentiment.

For Any Occasion….

Challenge - Anything Goes, One Crazy Stamper,

Hello OCS Fans;

My card turned out differently than what I had originally envisioned.  A crafting mishap occurred — I forgot that the window behind me was opened and a sudden gust of wind scattered some gilding flakes around and not where I wanted them to go.  Needless to say, my creativity took a different turn.  As I wasn’t sure of what sentiment to add, I didn’t add any.  This way it can be used for any occasion.

Take Flight….

Christmas/Halloween/Fall, High Hopes Stamps, One Crazy Stamper, ,

Hi Fellow Crafters;

Happy Hump day is here again, and September is almost over and fall is here, and the grandchildren’s hockey has begun.  Winter will be here in a three months bring Christmas with it.  Before we get there though Thanksgiving and Halloween are around the corner.

For my post today for OCS, I have used this adorable stamp from the “Joys of Seasons” new release from High Hopes Rubber Stamps called, Free Broom Rides.  I stamped part of the broom on some beige mulberry paper to add a papery effect.
