Wishing you Holiday Cheer….

Unlike today’s social distancing restrictions, this snowman and his friend appear to be enjoying each other’s company.  One day in the near future, I’m sure we will be able to do so as well.  For now, we can send our handmade cards to family and friends as a way of saying hello and I’m/we’re thinking of you and your loved ones.
For today’s card, I’m using Nordic Snowman with Bird and Holiday All Year, both from High High Hopes Stamps.  After stamping the image, I coloured it with Copic Markers, then cut it out using a Double Sitched In & Out Die.  The Frosty Border was cut out on a piece of white glitter foam.  Some enamel dots finished off the card.

Warm Winter Wishes

Welcome HH fans;

Another week has been and gone and it is now officially less than four weeks to Christmas.  The countdown is about to begin.

Today’s card which is being added to the Christmas/Winter stash is featuring the adorable Hope for Peace Snowy paired with Dot Warm Winter Wishes.  Both are from High Hopes Stamps.

After stamping the image onto some XPress It Blending Cardstock, I coloured it with Copic Markers. A scallop die from Gina Marie Designs was used to cut it out.  Some Polar Blue ink from Versa Color was used to ad a bit of colour.  I then cut two more sheets of design paper to mat the image on.  Some ribbon, enamel dots a snowflake embellishment finished off the card.

Happy Holly-days!

It is Friday and the end of the work week for me.  It has been a busy one and doesn’t seem to be ending.   It looks like Santa and his Reindeer are eager to get home also.

For today’s card, I used the adorable Reindeer Games stamp and paired it with Happy Holly-days!, both from High Hopes Stamps.

After colouring the image with Copic Markers, I used the Double Stitched Rectangle Die from Gina Marie Designs.  I added some Polar Blue ink (Versa Color) for the sky, and then added some Faux Snow from Art Glitter.  I was hoping to create some falling snow, but I’m not sure if it really worked.  It has been a while since I used this product.  Some ribbon and glitter finished off the card.

Warm Winter Wishes

Welcome Everyone;

It is now officially only 6 more weeks to Christmas, which will now creep up very quickly.  The mad rush is starting; however it is going to be a completely different type of mad rush due to all the restrictions with COVID — limited in person shopping.  Let’s hope Canada Post and all the different delivery companies don’t get excessively bogged down.

While anyway, I have another Christmas card using the adorable Gnome and Snowman Friend from High Hopes Stamps.  After colouring it with copic markers, I used a Scalloped Stitched Die to cut it out.  Some Christmas Glitter paper was also cut out with the same die.  A snowflake embellishment and some Crystal Ice stickles finished off the card.

Merry Christmas

I’m a huge fan of both snowmen and penguins.  There are so many adorable stamps over at High Hopes Stamps.  Just love them all and they make great winter and Christmas cards.

For many of us, Christmas is a time to go all out and get spruced with decorations & trees.  That is exactly what this adorable is doing in today’s card.  The stamp that I have used from High Hopes Stamps is called Getting Spruced Up.

This is another CAS card.  I added some peel off border stickers to the outer sides of the design paper that is at an angle.  Some Nuvo glitter and enamel dots finish off the card.

Oh deer…..

Now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas will soon be here.  It too will be so different this year, just as Thanksgiving was.

Oh deer, it seems that Christmas is here!  But it looks like Santa and Rudolph might have run out of time as they still have some work to do.  Oh deer, he will get it sorted out.

Harvest Blessings

While the leaves on the trees are changing colours and falling, the last of the harvests are in,  and the weather has a definite chill about it, indicating that fall has arrived.  Time to put away our summer clothes and dig out our warmer ones.

For today’s card I have used Harvest Harry from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  After colouring Harry with Copic Markers, I cut the image out as a rectangle.  I then used Wild Honey Distress Ink, to ink around the outside edges.  Nuvo Crystal Drops and Orange Marmalade Jewel Dots were used to create some enamel dots and finish off the card.

Merry Christmas

The weeks are certainly going by quickly and before we know it Christmas will soon be here.  It is definitely time to start creating some Christmas cards.

For today’s card, I have used the adorable Christmas Treat image from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

After stamping it on copic friendly paper, I coloured it with Copic Markers.  Using a Square Double Stitched In and Out die, I cut it out.  The Peakaboo Squares die was used to cut several mats in different sizes. Some embellishments were added to these squares.

Ribbon and some enamel dots completed the card.

There is no doubt that this has been a very difficult year.  Our normal as we have known it, has been turned completely upside down.

However, there have still been some good times and things to be greatful for  One of them is a good harvest.  In a few weeks, all the crops will have been harvested and Thanksgiving will be here.  For today’s card, I have used Bountiful Harvest from High Hopes Stamps.  After colouring the image with Copic Markers, I used a Wonky Oval die to cut it out.  As this is a CAS card, some enamel dots and ribbon to finish it off.
