Shower of Love

Hi HH Fans;

Another week has gone by, and for today’s card I’m using the adorable Shower of Love Teddy from High Hopes Stamps.  Teddy is definitely ready to share some, and who knows we can certainly all do with some.

After colouring the stamped image with Copic Markers, I used a Single Stitched Line Tag Corner Rectangle to cut it out. The hearts on the left hand side were cut out using a Stitched Nesting Heart Die and some Strawberry Coulis Nuvo Jewel Drops were used along the stitched line.  Some twine and enamel dots finished off this very CAS card.

Hi HH Fans;

February is just around the corner and so is Valentine’s Day.

According to Wikepedia, Valentine’s Day originated as a  Western Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine and is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and love in many regions of the world. Even though it isn’t a public holiday, it is still celebrated on February 14th, and many Valentine’s Day cards are given out by children and adults alike.  Some as secret admirers.

For today’s card I have used the adorable Kitty’s Heart Frame paired with I love You! both from High Hopes Stamps.  After colouring the image with Copic Markers, I fuzzy cut it. I stamped the image again and cut around the heart shape and then used that mask to cut another heart using some mulberry paper.  A heart die was used with another piece of mulberry paper.  Some ribbon and enamel dots finished off the card.

Supplies used:

  • Stamps:  Kitty’s Heart Frame – S171, I love You! – D004 both from High Hopes Stamps
  • Paper:  XPress It Blending Cardstock, DP – Love Me – My Mind’s Eyes, Mulberry Paper

Welcome HH Fans;

Now that Christmas is over, it is time to get back to normal as much as possible, and to start making non-Christmas related cards.

Sweetheart Gnome

Welcome HH Fans;

As today, is the start of a brand new year and here’s wishing that it will be a better one.  For today’s post I have made 2 different versions of the same stamp — a Happy Birthday and Love You card.

I paired the Sweetheart Gnome with the Mini Sentiment Sets #1 both from High Hopes Stamps for two different cards.
