Happy Mother’s Day

Welcome Everyone;

Spring is in the air, and with that brings new arrivals.  Whether, they be flowers, baby birds & chicks.  Also, High Hopes Stamps‘ newest release “Spring Fever” is in full swing.

For today’s card, I have used the adorable Momma’s Love from this new release and paired it with a Happy Mother’s Day stamp.  After stamping and colouring the image with Copic Markers, I cut the main image out with the Eyelet Elegance Rectangle Die.  I also cut two more pieces out using mulberry paper and some design paper and layered them behind the main focal point.

Some lace, flowers, butterfly dies and enamel dots finished off this not my typical CAS style card.

Some Bunny……

The recent rain has washed the last of the snow away, and Spring seems to have finally arrived.  The tulips and daffodils are beginning to sprout through the ground.  For me, Spring is the start of new beginnings —

Over at High Hopes Stamps, the ‘vault’ has been opened again and the “Spring Fever” collection is being re-released.

For today’s card I have used the adorable Bunny Hugs stamp and paired it with the Some Bunny Sentiment.  After stamping and colouring the imag with Copic Markers, I used a Scalloped Die to cut it out.  Some ribbon, flowers and enamel dots finished off this CAS card.

Seasons Greetings

Welcome everyone;

The days are passing quickly and before we know it, Christmas will be upon us.  If all goes well between now and then, this Christmas will be remembered like no other.  The worst of the pandemic will be behind us, and visiting will be allowed.

As promised in a previous post, today’s post is the third one for the Snowman Mini Set from High Hopes Stamps.  Today’s card is a slimline one, using all three snowpeople, plus and extra idea or two.

After stamping the images on XPress It Blending Cardstock, and colouring them with copic markers, I cut them out using a slimline die.  Now, I haven’t done this for a long while, but I added some stitching using some varigated Christmas thread and used the holes that were on the die.  The silver paper behind the main image had some embossing on it. The next size up in the die set was used to cut it out and some stitching was also done on it. Some poinsettias and a silver snowflake finished off the card.

Yes, the card above is the main card for today’s post.  While playing around with this adorable set of 3 awesome mini snowmen and the snowlady, I came up with a some other uses for them.  Below are some tags that I created using this set. A Sizzix Die set was used to cut both the tag base and design paper at the same time.  I just added the image, some ribbon, and a peel off sticker sentiment  to finish them off. The image on right is a Christmas Crafts tag in my stash.  I just added some design paper to it.  This stamp set can also be used as a seal on a gift or gift bag.
