Another difficult week has gone by and I’m building up my stash with Get Well and Cheering You Up type cards.

For today’s card, I have used the sweet Valerie Nurse Angel paired with Get Well Wishes Script from High Hopes Stamps.

After colouring the image with Copic Markers, I used a Scalloped Stitched Nesting Die from Tutti Designs to cut it out.  Some twine and enamel dots finished off this CAS card.

For today’s card, I have used the adorable Hunny Bear with the Beary Special to Me sentiment, from High Hopes Stamps.   After colouring the image with Copic Markers, I used one of the smaller Double Stitched Rectangle dies to cut it out.  A larger size die was used for the other two rectangles, while a diamond shape die was used for the sentiment.

Have a Blessed Easter!

Another week has been and gone and Friday has arrived again.  For today’s post, I have a fun card.  This cutie known as Dragon Hop from High Hopes Stamps is collecting his Easter eggs.  

After stamping him on some XPress It Blending Cardstock, I coloured him with Copic Markers and used a Wonky Stitched Rectangle to cut him out.  I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the eggs on the design paper.  A white pom pom was added to Dragon’s tail.

There are definitely some days, that I wish I could be lounging around like Lizzy is doing.  It seems the older I’m getting, I’m falling apart.  Besides  moving in a slow mode, power surges have taken the place of hot flashes lol!

Be My Valentine!

Another week has been and gone and over here at the High Hopes Stamps this month we are celebrating everything Love.

For today’s card, which is a CAS,  I have used the adorable Heartstrings Monkey from High Hopes Stamps, and he has his string of Love for his special someone to see.

After stamping the image on XPress It Blending Cardstock, I coloured it with Copic Markers.  I then cut it out using the Spellbinders Square Die and then mounted it on the Squares Hearts that I rotated.

I cut the sentiment up so that it could be placed in different places.  The hearts are the leftovers from the Hearts Square Die.

Halloween, High Hopes Stamps, ,

Hi HH Fans;

For this month the DT Divas are sharing Fall and Halloween cards.  For today’s card, I have used the cute Batty Boo along with the Zig Zag Frame from High Hopes Stamps.   Now, here is the thing — my cards are 95% of the time CAS.  Since  I went a little outside of my comfort zone, I had a bit of a challenge.

After stamping both images on Copic XPress It Blending Cardstock, I coloured them with Copic Markers.   Batty Boo wasn’t too difficult to fuzzy cut, now the Zig Zag Frame was another whole story.  Not only the outside border was cut, but also the inside area.  I was holding my breath hoping the scissors didn’t slip and cut into the main frame — this is where I’m thinking a ScanNCut might have been helpful, lol! Once the frame was cut to my satisfaction, I trimmed a piece of the Bewitched Design Paper from Echo Park to fit the back of the frame. It is hard to see but there are some clouds and stars on the design papers.
