I’m Retired……

It has been one of these days — good ole Murphy has had his fun  and I definitely wish I was retired.  More play time is a must, oh well a couple of more years and I will be there — no more extensions for anyone.

Hello Sunshine

Welcome back OCS fans;

Hope you all enjoyed the extra day off work.  Yesterday, being Victoria Day was a holiday thus extending the weekend.  Even though the weather wasn’t the greatest, this is the weekend that people will open their cottages for the summer.

The OCS Divas are showcasing the latest release from High Hopes Stamps called “Darling Divas“.  For today’s card, I used the adorable “AnnaLee“.  My initial plans for this card changed when I started colouring it up as the original paper choice did not match the colours that I used.

Happy Birthday

Welcome OCS fans to another crazy Tuesday.  At last the sun is out and it is getting warmer, which is a nice change from all the rain that we have had lately.

For today’s card, I used the Darling Ella & Chi Chi from High Hopes Stamps latest release called “Darling Divas“.  I’m thinking I should have done  something slightly different with the Ribbon Threading Die, but I’m not sure what.  I shall play around with it again for next week.

May Challenge and Darling Divas Release High Hopes stamps

Welcome back OCS Fans;

As  today is May 1st, OCS has a brand new challenge, which is “Anything Goes”.  With this new challenge, High Hopes Stamps has a new release called “Darling Divas”.  For today’s card I have used the adorable stamp called “Apple”.

I used the Joy Crafts Cutting, Embossing & Embroidery Die # 6002/1204 for the sides.  I stitched them using a pink and green Sulky thread.  I also added some Versa Magic chalk — Aloe Vera and Pixie Dust to the embossed areas of the die.
