Sisters and Friends!!!

Welcome Everyone;

Even though Spring is here, with some nice and sunny weather and you feel that everything is going well, and then something happens — totally out of nowhere to make life suck.

Such has been my world for the last couple of weeks.  Take the time to talk and spend time with all of your families — your own immediate family as well as your brothers and sisters, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins — anyone who fits that special niche called family.  You never know when an unexpected life event is going to happen.  I know that my sister who was a wife, mother, grandmother and aunt and I did not talk or visit everyday; but we were still there for each other.

For today’s post I have used Girlfriends from High Hopes Stamps.  This card is for everyone who has a sister that they cherish and miss.

Friendship Warms the Heart!

Another week has come and gone, and Friday has arrived.  I have another spring like card for today’s post using “Blooming Friends” from High Hopes Stamps.

After stamping the image, it was coloured with Copic Markers.  I did paper piece her top with a piece of design paper from the Really Rainbow pad from Lawn Fawn.  Some flowers and die cut butterflies finish off the card.

Spring is in the air…

It definitely seems that Spring has finally arrived, even though it has been a bit humid this week.  The grass is becoming greener, buds are beginning to sprout on the trees and shrubs, tulips are blooming and the birds are most certainly chirping.

For today’s card I have used Fragrant Blooms.  I coloured the image with Copic Markers.  Tattered Rose Distress Ink was used to add colour to the Quilted Backdrop Die from Lawn Fawn.

A Magical Day Release (High Hopes Stamps), One Crazy Stamper, Sue, , ,

Hi there OCS fans;

Well another week has come and gone, and it is time for my Friday post.  For today’s card I have used one of the adorable stamps from High Hopes Stamps “A Magical Day” release called Little Wizard.

I am in the process of reorganizing my craft room and now have the embossing folders in a basket sorted by vendor, instead of buried somewhere in a drawer..  I used the Splatter embossing folder from Taylor Expressions and inked it up with the Weathered Wood Distress Ink.

Magical Moments…

Welcome OCS Fans;

For today’s post, I have used the “Wizard in Training” from the High Hopes Stamps latest release called “A Magical Day“.   It would be nice if she could do some magic that would bring us some spring.

Today’s card is on the clean and simple side.  The two side panels were created by using the Vintage Border Hot Foil Stamp and the GoPress and Foil machine to foil them.  This machine can foil embossing folders as well as wafer thin dies.

I thought I would do a spring like card that could also be used for Mother’s Day which will soon be here.

I have used the adorable LeiLani from the High Hopes Stamps Darling Divas Release which was last year.

After colouring my stamped image with Copic Markers, I trimmed it so that it would fit on the Quilted Backdrop die.  I added some Nuvo Jewel Drops at the bottom and Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flowers.

Fast Eddie on the prowl……

Welcome back OCS fans!

Being that it is Easter and over the next few days, there will be plenty of Easter Egg hunts going on, I used this fun image from High Hopes Stamps called Fast Eddie.  He is definitely on the run for those eggs. This is a fairly clean and simple card.  Fast Eddie was coloured with Copic Markers, then cut out using the Spellbinders Standard Circle Die.  I used the Crystal Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Pen, to add some glitter to the basket.


As there is a banner of wording on the bottom part of the card, I added the Happy Easter sentiment to the inside of the card.

I coloured the image with Copic Markers and added some white dots with a Sakura white Gelly Roll pen. A Prima Fresh Mint Chalk Edger was used to add some green around the edges of the image.
