Sparkle All the Way….

Now that Halloween (hope you had a good time trick and treating) has been and gone, Christmas is truly just around the corner.  For today’s card, I have used the adorable North Pole Penguin from High Hopes Stamps latest release called Woodsy Christmas.

After stamping the image I coloured it with Copic Markers.  I used a piece of blue cardstock for the the card base instead of my usual red and green.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.  Now that it is over, it is definitely time to start marking all  the Christmas cards that will be needed for this festive time.

For today’s card, I have used the lovable Mr. & Mrs. Claus, (a favourite of mine from High Hopes Rubber Stamps).  They are such a fun couple. After stamping the image, I coloured it with copic markers. The stocking and bell are from a collection of wooden Christmas flourishes and they were coloured with the Zig Wink of Stella pens.

Jingle All the Way!

As September has now been and gone, it seems that we are getting that much closer to Christmas.

Besides Christmas, there are all the fun winter activities such as going for a sleigh ride.

For today’s card I have used the adorable Sleigh Ride from High Hopes Stamps.  After stamping the image, I coloured it with Copic Markers.  A sheet of silver glitter paper was used to cut the Snowflake Corners and white glitter paper used to cut the snowflake.  Unfortunately, the glitter on the paper is hard to see.

Winter Fun!

With the start of school and fall almost here, this brings the start of Winter fun and sports.  Hockey is a big one with my grandchildren.  They all play and can’t wait for their season to start.

For today’s card, I have used the adorable Penguin’s Pastime stamp from High Hopes Stamps.  Copic Markers were used to colour the image.  Silver foil, and Turquoise & Silver Foil, were used with the Heidi Swap Minc machine to foil the snowflakes.

Welcome Everyone;

September is here and One Crazy Stamper and High Hopes Stamps have a new theme called Anything Goes.  It is always good to have some baby cards on hand for that special occasion.

For today’s card, I have used the addorable Swaddled Baby Girl from High Hopes Stamps.  I coloured her with Copic Markers and paper pieced the blanket.  I used a Lacey Circle Die to cut the image out as well as a piece of matching cardstock that I threaded some ribbon through.  Some bluish gray jewels finished off the card.

Welcome Fall

Hi Everyone;

I can’t wait for Fall to come.  It is one of my favourite seasons, and it is colourful with the leaves changing colours, the abundance of pumpkins, Thanksgiving and Halloween.

For today’s card, I have used the Wagon Full of Blessings from High Hopes Stamps.  This is a CAS card.  A small piece of Design Paper was used, so that there would be room to add some stenciling on the Kraft cardstock.  I used Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Orange Blush and Inka Gold in Jade to add colour to The Autumn Delight Stickable Stencil from BoBunny.  When I opened the Inka Gold, it had harden over time, so I spritz some water on it which made it usable again. The same can be done with the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse.

The image was coloured with Copic Markers, and some ribbon and enamel dots were added to finish it off.

Leaves are Falling….Autumn’s Calling

Welcome Everyone;

Now that summer is half over, this means that the start of school and fall is just around the corner.  Fall is my second favourite season.  There is something about seeing all the harvests as well as the leaves changing their colours.  Tommy’s Fall Fun reminds me of the times when I would kick the  leaves around as a child.

After stamping the image, I coloured Tommy with Copic Markers.  The sentiment came from a piece of design paper that I have. Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens were used to add some glitter to the leaves on the design paper.
