Haunted House

Hi All,

For this Halloween card, I used this stamp from Kraftin’ Kimmie called Haunted House as the main focal  point.  I added Spooktacular from Your Next Stamp and the sentiment was from Got Candy, Trick or Treat set also from Your Next Stamp.

I coloured Spooktacular with C00-No. 00 and then used the colourless blender to lighten it a bit. Both Spooktacular and the Haunted House were fuzzy cut.  The Spooky Tree die was put slightly behind the Haunted House.

A Purr-ty Great Day!

Hi All,

It has been a rather wet weekend so far. For my post today, I have used Popcorn Kitty from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  It doesn’t show up too well in the photo, but I stitched around the edge of the circle with Sulky Thread No. 1177 Avocado Green.

I’m fortunate enough to live fairly close to Lora’s brick and mortar OCS store and am able to attend some of these classes.  It is a great way to netwtork and get new ideas.  These are samples from the Christmas Wonderland class given yesterday by Christine.

October Challenge — Acetate/Clear

Hi All;

For this month’s challenge for One Crazy Stamper Michelle has chosen Acetate or clear elements for us to use on our projects.

For my card I used the Ock-Toe-Bur Fairy from Whimsy Stamps which was designed by Crissy Armstrong.  I trimmed a piece of acetate to be the card base and stamped the front of it with the Cover a Card – Stars stamp from Impression Obession with Staz-On Opague White.

Christmas in a Cup

Hi Everyone

As this is my last post for the month for OCS and Christmas is almost 3 months away, I thought it was about time to start making some Christmas cards.  For today’s card I used this cute Penny Black image called Christmas in a Cup.

Snoesjes – Snoes with Dog

Hi All

It is a gorgeous sunny Sunday here, even though it is a bit cool, there is no doubt that Fall is definitely coming. For my post today for One Crazy Stamper, I have used a Marianne Design stamp called Snoesjes – Snoes with Dog.

As there are so many techniques and new products available; I have decided that at least once a month, possibly more that I will try a new technique or add something different to the cards.

For this card, I used a new cut, emboss and embroidery die that Lora has in stock at OCS; and am really quite pleased with how the it turned out. It is cut and embossed in the usual way using one of the thin metal adapter plates. The holes didn’t need any extra pricking and I used red and green Sulky thread to embroider.

September Challenge – Red, Black and Kraft

Hi All

A new month has started and so has a new challenge at OCS.  Joni has created a colour challenge for us using Red, Black and Kraft.  Take a look at the creative cards the Design Team have created and play along with us for a chance to win some great prizes.

I stamped the image twice, one on the Kraft cardstock and the other on the X-Press It Blending Cardstock, which was coloured with copics and cut out and adhered to the image stamped on the Kraft.  Parts of the pail and shovel were coloured the Prisma pencils.
