Birthday Treasure!!!

Hi All;

For my card today for One Crazy Stamper I have used this adorable image from Nellie Snellen called Young Rebels – Treasure.  This card is for my second youngest grandson Orion who turned 4 last Monday.   One of his gifts was a couple of transformers which are his treasures.  He is a big transformers fan; can recite all the names and tranform them all in minutes.

Thinking of You

Hi Everyone;

For today’s post for One Crazy Stamper, I did a card using the Susan’s Garden die called Mini Lily die by Sissix.  This is a follow up to the tutorial I did last week.

thinking

I stitched two card layers and put the one on the inside of the card.  I then trimmed a bit of f the card front

so that the stitching could be seen.   To make the decorative edge, I used a Martha Stewart Arch Lattice edge punch.  I made the lilies the same way as I did in last week’s Card Layers and Susan’s Garden Tutorial.  Butterfly peel off stickers were added and coloured with Sakura Gellyroll Stardust pens.  Finally I added the “Thinking of You” which is also a peel off sticker.

There are still a couple of days left to enter this month’s Kraft Challenge, and then on Thursday One Crazy Stamper will have a new challenge.

You’re Special

Hi All;

The past week has been rather quiet, peaceful and relaxing while away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  I definitely like it up in Tobermory as it is a whole different pace; come and go as you please, no rushing anywhere, watching the boats and ducks play in Little Tub Harbour.

Being away has given me time to reflect on the fact, that as a whole we don’t always tell someone how special they really are and we should make a point of telling them so.  For my post today for One Crazy Stamper, I have used Huggy Bear from Nellie Snellen and the sentiment from the Wellington Collection by Docrafts.

A Tranquil Moment

Hi All;

Well the weekend is almost over, and at least it hasn`t rained as much as it did during the week.  School has been out for a week and Walmart already has back to school supplies on sale.  To my mind this is way too soon — the children need to have these months for a fun summer vacation.

Talking about vacation, I have been off this week and will be away next week.  Yeah!!! So with this in mind, and for today`s post for One Crazy Stamper I used the Tranquil Evening Set from Heartfelt Creations for the main image.  I coloured the image with Prismacolour Pencils, and used the Copic Marker BG70 Ocean Mist for the sky which doesn`t show up too well.  I also inked the edge with Sea Breeze Versa Magic Chalk and added Flower Soft Shamrock Green and Spring. The border which is called Sun-Kissed Fleur Border and Corner and is also from Heartfelt Creations.  I inked the edge with Aloe Vera Versa Mark Chalk.
