Pumpkin Patch

Now that another month has started, which means that we are getting closer to the start of school and fall coming.  This month, both the OCS and HH divas will be bringing you inspiration for fall like cards.

When my children were younger, one of the best activities for fall was the carving of pumpkins.  How they loved making carving their own pumpkins and having an unique face.  So for today’s card, I have used Pumpkin Patch and Pumpkins 10 cents both from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  After stamping the image on XPress It Blending Cardstock, I coloured it with Copic Markers.

It seems that summer is half over, which means Christmas will be here in a few more months.  For today’s post, I have another “Christmas in July” card, using  Angel Trio from High Hopes Stamps.

After stamping the image on XPress It Blending Cardstock, I coloured it with Copic Markers.  For the wings, I added White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops to the wings.

Christmas Joy

We can’t win with the weather, if it isn’t freezing cold, it is raining cats and dogs and then there is the never ending heat wave.  As we are currently in the midst of a heat wave, what better way of cool off than by creating Christmas cards in July.

Yes it is 5 months before Christmas, but it is a great time to start the stash that will be needed for when Christmas does arrive.

For today’s card I have used Christmas Joy Snowy from High Hopes Stamps.  I usually don’t do an inside for the card, but I did this time using the sentiment Sparkle & Cheer also from High Hopes Stamps.

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas

Nuvo White Blizzard Crystal Drops were added to the trim on Santa’s hat and jacket.  Nuvo Crystal Glaze was added to the snow on and around the chimney.

Happy Belated Birthday!

We have all done it, forget or be late with someone’s birthday.  So to add to my birthday stash, I have a Happy Belated Birthday card for today’s post.

Today’s card is 5 1/4′ x 4 1/2′, a size that I haven’t used for a really long time and I’m happy with how it turned out.

To obtain the decoupage effect, I stamped the Pansy Arrangement from High Hopes Stamps twice on XPress It Blending Cardstock, and coloured them both with copic markers.  I cut one using the Scalloped Die and the other one only the main flower arrangement was cut out and mounted with glue dots.

Where does the time go.  It seems that Friday has come around and another week is almost over.

For today’s card, I have used the adorable Thinking of You Stamp from High Hopes Stamps and created a CAS card.

After stamping the image on XPress It Blending Cardstock, I coloured it with Copic Markers.  I then used the Foilmate Vibrant Vines with the Sparkling Silver Foil (both from Gina K Designs)  and ran it through the MINC machine.  This is the positive side as opposed to the negative side which I used last week.  This was then cut out using the Spellbinders Scalloped Die.

Where Flowers Grow….

Welcome OCS and HH fans;

Well it seems that spring has finally arrived and flowers, shrubs and trees are beginning to grow as they have new shoots and blooms.  With flowers beginning to grow, so does hope in so many ways.

With this in mind, today’s card is using the adorable Flowers Grow stamp from High Hopes Stamps.

After stamping the image, I coloured it with Copic Markers, and cut it out using the Scalloped Square Die from Spellbinders.  The foil background was created using the Vibrant Vines Foil-Makes and Sparkling Silver Foil – Fancy Foils both from Gina K. Designs and fun through the Minc Machine to foil it.  The negative was used for the background. It was cut out using the same die as the image.
