Hello everyone;

Hmm, Irma is definitely busy ironing out the wrinkles on the towel and maybe she is trying to get ride of the wrinkles.

Now it could be debatable as to whether wrinkles are hereditary… and that we get them from our children.  They could be considered hereditary as we did frown a lot because of their antics and frowning causes  wrinkles… just saying it is a possibility

After colouring Ironing Irma (High Hopes Stamps) with Copic Markers, I used a Double Stitched Rectangle Die from Gina Marie Designs to cut it out.  A piece of Mulberry paper was cut out with the same die.  Some ribbon, Prima flowers – with a dab of Morning Dew from Nuvo Crystal Drops in the center and Your Next Stamps Enamel Dots finished off the card.

Laurie’s Garden Angel

Welcome Everyone;

May is now here and buds on some bushes and trees are starting to bloom.  It is also time to start thinking and how to re-establish the grass and flowerbeds and the planning of the vegetable garden.

For today’s card which is a CAS one, I have used the adorable Laurie’s Garden Angel from High Hopes Stamps.  What’s more I have gone out of my comfort zone.  I don’t use yellow often, except maybe for flowers and never to colour  clothes — those are usually, pinks, a rose colour etc.  So Laurie’s outfit in a combination of yellow and blue is a definite first.  I definitely like the combo.  I used Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops to create some crystal drops on the design paper.

  • Paper:  Xpress It Blending Cardstockm DP — Fall Market (Echo Park)
