Happy Thanksgiving

Welcome HH Fans;

Fall is just around the corner and with that comes leaves changing to some beautiful colours, as well as falling, pumpkins getting bigger and Thanksgiving and Halloween coming.  For the month of August, the Divas will be showcasing the adorable Happy Halloween/Fall Release.

For today’s card I have used the adorable Harvest Mice stamps from High Hopes Stamps.  After stamping it on some XPress It Blending Cardstock, I coloured it with Copic Markers.  It was then cut out using a Double Stitched Square Die.

Some enamel dots finished it off, thus creating a very CAS card.

Harvest Blessings

Welcome Everyone;

While the leaves on the trees are changing colours and falling, the last of the harvests are in,  and the weather has a definite chill about it, indicating that fall has arrived.  Time to put away our summer clothes and dig out our warmer ones.

For today’s card I have used Harvest Harry from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  After colouring Harry with Copic Markers, I cut the image out as a rectangle.  I then used Wild Honey Distress Ink, to ink around the outside edges.  Nuvo Crystal Drops and Orange Marmalade Jewel Dots were used to create some enamel dots and finish off the card.

There is no doubt that this has been a very difficult year.  Our normal as we have known it, has been turned completely upside down.

However, there have still been some good times and things to be greatful for  One of them is a good harvest.  In a few weeks, all the crops will have been harvested and Thanksgiving will be here.  For today’s card, I have used Bountiful Harvest from High Hopes Stamps.  After colouring the image with Copic Markers, I used a Wonky Oval die to cut it out.  As this is a CAS card, some enamel dots and ribbon to finish it off.

Scarecrows are Stuffed with Love

As August is almost over, this means a couple of things; school is starting up again and Fall is just around the corner.  This month, the Divas have been busy making Fall related cards using High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  For today’s CAS card, I have used the adorable Lg. Guard Duty Rudy and he seems to be doing a great job as no one except the friendly crow are around.

Fall themed cards is the order of business and fun over on the High Hopes Stamps blog today.  One of my favourite things with fall is how all the leaves change from their rich green to beautiful shades of orange, yellow and red.  Once they dropped from the trees, it was so much fun playing in them.

Today’s CAS card is using the adorable stamp called “Tommy’s Fall Fun” from High Hopes Stamps.   After stamping the image onto XPress it Blending Cardstock, I coloured it with Copic Markers.  A bit of twine and some YNS Gumdrops finished it off.

Pumpkin Patch

Now that another month has started, which means that we are getting closer to the start of school and fall coming.  This month, both the OCS and HH divas will be bringing you inspiration for fall like cards.

When my children were younger, one of the best activities for fall was the carving of pumpkins.  How they loved making carving their own pumpkins and having an unique face.  So for today’s card, I have used Pumpkin Patch and Pumpkins 10 cents both from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  After stamping the image on XPress It Blending Cardstock, I coloured it with Copic Markers.
