Callie Christmas Kitty & Mischief

Welcome Everyone;

With Christmas just around the corner, it was time to put up the tree.  Well, we did but we definitely had some help from Taz the mischeivous kitten.  He is a character and Callie Christmas Kitty reminds me of what he gets up to.  Never a dull moment with him around.

After stamping the image on Neenah Classic Crest Cardstock with Staz-On Ink, I coloured it with Spectrum Noir Pencils.  Some Nuvo Crystal Glaze was added to the ornaments, and Nuvo Crystal Drops were used to create some enamel drops.

Supplies used:

  • Stamps: Callie Christmas Kitty, Merry Christmas (High Hopes Stamps)
  • Ink:  Staz-On Jet Black
  • Paper:  Neenah Classic White, DP – Holiday Joy (Your Next Stamp), ‘Twas the Nigh Before Christmas Vol. 1 (Echo Park)
  • Spectrum Noir Pencils
    • Essentials Set — 009, 020, 091, 103, 112
    • Nature Set — 048, 051, 054

Warm Winter Wishes

Besides the year being almost over, it has been really really cold these last few days and will be for the next little while.

For my final post of the year, I am using the adorable Heart Framed Waving Snowy — he is waving good bye to this year and hello to 2018.

There are still a few days left to play in the final challenge of the year — Christmas/Winter.  We can’t wait to see what you create.

Winter Joy…..

Welcome OCS fans and thank you for stopping by.  Christmas is almost here, and not only are children becoming excited about Santa arriving, so are our constant and faithful companions. Today’s card is for all the dog and cat lovers.

I have used the adorable Winter Kitty and Winter Puppy from the High Hopes Stamps release called “Winter Joy“.  Both images were coloured with Copic Markers.  The Joy and Bell (Christmas Wooden Shapes from BoBunny)  were coloured with Zig Wink of Stella markers.

Supplies used:

If  you are able to sneak some colouring time, there are still a few days left to enter this month’s challenge. For any supplies that you might need or want check out Lora’s One Crazy Stamper store.

Christmas Joy

I don’t know about you, but I have always associated gingerbread with Christmas.  The fresh aroma of gingerbread cooking seems to feel the air with the Christmas spirit and joy.

For today’s card I have used the adorable Ginger Family in Heart.  I coloured the image with copics and added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze and Nuvo Glitter Accents Fresh Snowfall.  The embellishments on the side are from BoBunny’s Christmas Wood shapes and were coloured with some  Zig Wink of Stella Pens. I then used a Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Pen to add some glitter.

“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!”

Hi there;

I am back with another post for this week for OCS.  Christmas Eve has finally arrived and the children will all be in bed eagerly awaiting the arrival of Santa Claus.  For my card today, I just had to use Santa Bob from the “Joys of the Seasons” release by High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

As I wanted the whole sheet of design paper to be seen, I only used a red card stock for the base of the card and no other patterned paper.  I also used some of Heidi Swapp’s Minc accessories also.

Supplies used:

Hope you enjoyed the card and as Clement Clarke Moore said in his classic Christmas poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas” — “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight.”

Do have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy the time spent with your loved ones.

Well folks, it is now officially winter and in this part of Ontario,  there is not a speck of snow.  Nope;

Nope, non at all, not even a tiny tiny snowflake. Leanne and Shari how about sending some snow from Alberta this way. Maybe some will fall before Christmas Day, if we all Think Think Snow!!.

For my card today, I used this adorable image called Snowman Snowball, from the “Joys of the Seasons” – High Hopes Rubber Stamps latest release.

Merry Christmas Tags

Hi All,

It is Sue here, and I am posting for Shari today at OCS.  I decided to use the Snowman Mini Set from the “Joys of the Seasons” Release from High Hopes Rubber Stamps, to make some Christmas tags.

I used Ranger’s Distress Ink the Winter Set which is composed of Festive Berries, Iced Spruce and Evergreen Bough to create the backgrounds on the tags.  I used the 1/8″ Scor-Pal tape around the edges and at the top just below the hole and used the Glitter Ritz Vintage Christmas Collection which is made up of Frosty Mint, Cranberry and Spruce.
